PNG Indonesia Business Council (PNGIBC) Membership Terms and Conditions
Welcome to the PNG Indonesia Business Council! By applying for, renewing, or using your membership, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (the "Terms").
Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By using the services and benefits provided by the PNG Indonesia Business Council (PNGIBC), you, as the member or a representative of the member entity, agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not become or remain a member of the PNGIBC. The PNGIBC reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of the services following any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

2. Description of Service and Member Benefits
The PNGIBC provides a platform for businesses to engage in networking, information sharing, and trade and investment promotion between Papua New Guinea and Indonesia. Membership grants access to a range of benefits commensurate with the selected tier, which may include exclusive events, publications, advocacy services, and business resources. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any specific service or benefit at any time.

3. Membership Tiers and Fees

  • Membership Tiers: The PNGIBC offers four tiers of annual membership: MSME/SME/Small, Medium Company, Big Company, and Large Corporation.

  • Tier Classification: The classification of a company into a specific tier is at the sole discretion of the PNGIBC and is based on criteria such as business size, revenue, and number of employees.

  • Payment: All membership fees are non-refundable and are payable in Papua New Guinea Kina (K) upon application or annual renewal. Fees are subject to change, and any adjustments will be communicated to members at least 30 days prior to their renewal date.

4. Member Accounts

  • Registration: To access membership benefits, you or your designated representative may be required to register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete company and contact information and to update such information to keep it accurate and current.

  • Account Security: The member is responsible for safeguarding its account credentials and for any activities or actions that occur under its account.

  • Termination: The PNGIBC reserves the right to suspend or terminate a membership at any time for reasons including, but not limited to, failure to pay fees, violation of these Terms, or conduct that may harm the reputation of the PNGIBC or its members.

5. Member Conduct
Members agree not to use the services for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms. Members also agree not to engage in any conduct that could damage, disable, or impair the reputation of the PNGIBC, other members, or the business community.

6. Intellectual Property
All content, logos, and materials provided by the PNGIBC, including but not limited to event collateral, publications, and website content, are the exclusive property of the PNGIBC. Member companies are prohibited from using, reproducing, or distributing these materials without prior written consent.

7. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall the PNGIBC, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits or business opportunities, resulting from a member's use of or inability to use the services.

8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Papua New Guinea, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
